Tequila is an Agave Distill and was the first Appellation of Origin outside Europe, which is no small thing. It is produced with Agave Tequilana Weber exclusively (Blue Agave) and only in certain regions (Jalisco, Guanajuato, Michoacan, Nayarit and Tamaulipas)
